If you have earned a higher education degree at the Medical University in Bulgaria and would like to have your qualification recognized in another country, be it for work or following studies, then you need translation and legalization of your documents.
The base set of documents needed for the recognition of your medical degree is:
- Diploma and a supplement to the diploma - originals and notary certified copies;
- Academic transcript;
- Certificate from the Medical University stating that a valid diploma has been issued.
These are the basic documents that must be legalized in Bulgaria so that they will be accepted abroad.
Since 2023 there are new requirements for the issuing of these documents set by the Ministry of Education. So, if you graduated university by 2022, there's a possibility that the Academic transcript which you have been issued will not be recognized.
For the translation and legalization process, the diploma, academic transcript, and certificate must be submitted in original form to an authorized translation agency.
If you do not have the time to deal with the legalization process of your documents yourself or if you live abroad and do not have the opportunity to visit the necessary institutions, another option for you is to contact our agency.
