Electronic register "Apostille" allows for an online verification of an already issued Apostille and the confirmation of its origin, by the interested institutions or people. The agency or authority that has issued the document should maintain a Register in which the unique number and issue date of each Apostille are recorded. Using this unique number you can verify the certification and can also see to which document it refers (the documents are available in the Register). The "Apostille" register can be accessed at the following address: https://www.apostille.bg

Electronic Apostille (e-Apostille) is a seal of certification that has the same legal force as the paper-issued one. As for now, the Nation Centre for Information and Documentation (NACID) is the only agency that provide this service. It is available solely for diplomas, certificates, etc., that have been entered into the Register of issued educational documents.
