The Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travellers to Greece from July 1, 2020 and how it will perform the necessary diagnostic examination, aiming to keep everyone safe throughout the summer season.

The Passenger Location Form (PLF) is a key element in achieving this goal.
The form is filled out online and can be found here - https://travel.gov.gr/#/form

All passengers are required to complete the PLF at least 48 hours before entering the country, providing detailed information on the following specifics:

• Way of entering Greece - by land, air or water;
• Indication of the point of entry into Greece
• Personal data - names, phone numbers - mobile / business / home, ID card number, email;
• Place of residence in Greece - exact address;
• Duration of previous stay in other countries;

Important!
When filling out the form, the system automatically provides each person a unique code (QR). The code must be shown by each passenger when entering the country, either on the screen of their mobile phone or printed on paper.

The procedures vary depending on whether the passenger enter Greece by land, by air or water.
However in all cases the arriving passenger will be controlled by specialized staff, who will check each person’s QR code. Depending on the code, passengers will be directed by the screening personnel either to a screening area or they will be allowed to enter the country directly.

The arriving passengers directed to the screening area will be tested for the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and until the results of their tests are ready, they are obliged to self-isolate at the address of their final destination as declared on their passenger locator form (PLF).

Their data is entered into the EODY information system (National Public Health Organization Operations Centre in Greece), which is linked to the COVID registry to facilitate contact tracing in the event someone tests positive.

All passengers must follow all of the necessary preventive hygiene measures (use of masks and physical/social distancing).
