Charity on the occasion of the Children’s Day

Translation and Legalization Agency arte.doc donated the amount of 550 BGN to the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration for Children in the town of Kyustendil, which is run by Foundation “Institute for Social Policy and Social Work“ (ISPSW).

The funds will be used for the successful implementation of a project for introduction of an efficient model (VIPP-SD) for work with parents of children with disabilities. The project aims to facilitate for the acceptance of trauma on the part of family members for building up positive relationships with the children with disabilities at an early age and mastering specific skills for education and integration.

The results from the work with the children and their parents will be of benefit not solely for the relevant families but also for the society as a whole as the fast and seamless social integration of children with disabilities will be evidence for a change of the imposed stereotypes in this respect and a step forward in the development of the society.
