If the document is issued in Bulgaria, it must have a rectangular seal by the relevant Municipality for use abroad. The Certificate is translated and then submitted for certification in the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If the document is issued outside Bulgaria, but by a country which signed the Hague Convention, the document must have an Apostille. The document is translated and then submitted to the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where the translation is certified.
