Environmental policy

The participants in the forum, which is the biggest to date will be transported from the center of the city to the venue by environment-friendly taxis forming a green car wave. Its program includes three technical panels and an expert one, during which representatives of companies and leading experts will discuss ecological practices for sustainable development, green policies and innovations in low carbon economy.
Our eco-policy constitutes an essential part of our corporate activity and aims at the reduction of the wastes, the saving of energy, the enhancement of the public awareness on ecological issues and the improvement and the development of urban environment. The practices introduced by us and the events conducted, as, for instance, the use of electronic documents and invoices, the rejection of use of nylon bags, the planting of trees, the manifestations with ecological orientation with children and pupils and so on will be of use for everyone and for all.
Our environmental policy is an essential part of our corporate activity and is focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, promoting public awareness of environmental issues and the improvement and development of the urban environment. The practices we have implemented, and the events we have organized, as, for instance, the use of electronic documents and invoices, the ban on plastic bags and their replacement with textile and recycled paper ones, the planting of trees, the environment-oriented events with children and students and so on will be beneficial for everyone and anyone.
Textile does not pollute the environment because it decomposes naturally. Textile products have a long life cycle and wide application due to its multi-functionality.
We have been using bags of recycled paper in our practice for several years now. And now with the introduction and use of textile bags for our everyday tasks we contribute to a cleaner nature and to the saving and preservation of its resources.
The specific steps, leading to the big step to a calmer and secure future, are described in the Charter which will be published in the special section the “Green Circle” on the web site of Journal “Manager”.
The participants in the forum called all the companies which are already members of the “Green Circle” initiative generated after the first eco-forum organized by Journal “Manager” and GLOBUL to support the Charter. Companies, which are not members of the initiative yet, may also join in.
By 5 August this year the document is open for opinions, recommendations and supplements, which each representative of nature-aware business in our country, as well as each Bulgarian, compassionate to the subject-matter for sustainable development may send to e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. The final words of the organizers were: “We are sure that the commitments proposed in the document will provoke the formulation of new valuable ideas not only amongst the business but also amongst the civil society, as the subject-matter for ecology concerns a bigger and bigger part of the population”.
